AmbitionBI helps clients make better decisions from data driven insight. That is a fine promise, but how do we go about it? Across two posts we walk you through how we work and what it is worth to you as a finance professional. Together we improve your finance function, and with it the organisation as a whole.
Well run financial processes and automated reporting: what most finance professionals want. But how do you get to the best result, and what do you need for it? It starts with understanding what you need personally and what the organisation needs. Common ones are:

In this article we show how we go about meeting three of those: saving time, and building one automated report that is easy to hand over. We call this Financial Intelligence Reporting.
The project approach of AmbitionBI works in three phases.
Diagnose
In this phase we map what you need from reporting. What exactly do you want, and which financial KPIs matter to you? We also map the current situation: what the financial data looks like today and how we can get usable insight out of it. Add the work of unlocking the financial data from the accounting software, and we have a detailed plan.
Develop
The second phase is where the reporting is actually built. Automated data connections are implemented and the financial data can be pulled through. We develop the business intelligence reporting for your organisation across several rounds of feedback, so changes can be made in good time. Step by step we arrive together at the reporting that helps you take the organisation further.
Deliver
The final phase is about training. We do not only get you going with the reporting, we involve every stakeholder. That secures a smooth handover inside the organisation and leaves everyone ready to use the new insight regularly.
